Who We Are
The Roster is operated by JLB Consulting and Coaching Limited ("JLB", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Canada. This platform is an invite-only brand portal for evaluating professional women's hockey athletes.

What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:
- Email address — provided when you request a login link. Used solely for authentication.
- User ID — a unique identifier assigned by our authentication provider (Supabase) when your account is created.
- Shortlist activity — the names of athletes you bookmark, stored alongside your user ID and email address.
We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above. We do not run any analytics or behavioural tracking.
How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and maintain your session on the platform.
- To save and retrieve your shortlist of athletes across sessions.
- To notify our team when a shortlist is submitted for review (where applicable).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage. Your email and shortlist data are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase may host data in the United States. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (used to send your login link). See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address and browser information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- jsDelivr — CDN used to load our JavaScript library. May log your IP address. See jsDelivr's Privacy Policy.
Data Storage & Retention
Session data (your login token) is stored in your browser's local storage and is cleared when you sign out. Shortlist data is retained in our database until you remove items or request deletion of your account.
We retain your email address and account record for as long as you have an active account. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.
Your Rights Under PIPEDA
As a Canadian resident, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent, which may limit your ability to use the platform.
If you are located in the European Union, additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply. If you are located in California, rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may apply.

Security
Access to the platform is invite-only. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication uses magic links — no passwords are stored. Access controls and row-level security policies ensure users can only access their own data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
